What are Alice credentials #
Alice is the University of Pisa’s portal dedicated to prospective students, current students, and alumni. Alice credentials are unique personal identification data, consisting of a username and a password.
Upon completion of the registration on the portal, personal credentials are generated, consisting of a username and a password. In the context of students, the terms Alice credentials, credentials, and university credentials refer to the same credentials.
The username is formed by the initial of the first name, followed by a dot, the surname, and, when necessary, a number. For example, the username for Mario Rossi could be m.rossi15.
For users registered on the Alice portal before 2005, the username is formed by the student ID number followed by the day of birth. For example, for a student ID 108294 and a person born on the 2nd of the month, the username is 10829402.
Attention
Your credentials are personal and must be kept confidential. After registration and confirmation, they initially allow access to the Alice portal. To use them for other online university services, you need to complete the activation procedure.
