Microsoft 365

The University of Pisa, thanks to the agreement with Microsoft, offers staff and students access to Office365 cloud services.

Access credentials are the institutional ones from the University. The only information shared with Microsoft is first name, last name, and username.

To access the service, simply connect to the site https://office.com, click on the profile icon at the top right, and authenticate with the University credentials.

The service includes various web applications, ensuring that data is used solely for the purposes requested by the user. Additionally, it is possible to install the latest version of Office on personal devices, up to a maximum of five installations for each type of device (computer, tablet, and smartphone).

Cloud storage limits

The quotas listed in the following tables include a soft quota, which generates a notification to the user without immediately blocking writing, and a hard quota, beyond which storage is blocked. The roles refer to the Guidelines on the use of IT resources, while the Default value applies to all those who do not fall into the specified roles.
