Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) | Mandatory from December 1, 2025, for accessing University services

The national regulatory framework (art. 24 of Legislative Decree 138/2024) requires the activation of a second authentication factor for access to the university’s IT systems, to protect digital identities and personal data.

Starting from December 1, 2025, to access Microsoft 365 services (including email), CINECA services such as Titulus, and some applications developed at the university (Eligere, Agenda Didattica, IO@Unipisa, etc.), it will be necessary to use a second authentication factor in addition to the university credentials password.

The configuration of MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) must be completed by December 1.

It is recommended to configure at least two verification methods to avoid access blockages in case of unavailability of the primary device.

In accordance with the Regulations for the use of university IT resources, the credentials are personal and must not be shared.
