Sympa is the new system for managing mailing lists at the University of Pisa, accessible with University credentials.
Lists can be requested directly on Sympa, even autonomously by users.
The created lists will have the address @liste.unipi.it.
For lists used at the departmental level, the following organization is planned:
- The head of the IT department is configured as the owner of the list.
- The head of the department, having consulted the Director, RED, and the administrative head of the structure, can configure the moderators of the list;
- The currently active moderators in the central secretariats will not be modified.
The new lists must be created directly on https://liste.unipi.it (or, if necessary, on the Exchange platform). Users can also proceed independently, creating lists with the address @liste.unipi.it, which may optionally forward to other addresses.
The Sympa system is integrated with the university credentials, allowing for a more transparent and traceable management of activities on each list.
