The University Computer System supports the centralized acquisition of the ChatGPT Education license, aimed at teachers and researchers who wish to use generative artificial intelligence tools in an academic context, with an advanced level of service and greater guarantees of confidentiality.
Features of the Education License
Compared to the individually available versions, the Education license:
- includes guarantees of enhanced privacy for use in the university environment;
- offers additional services dedicated to research and the educational environment;
The University of Pisa was among the first Italian universities to negotiate this license and is participating in the definition of a national agreement through the CRUI that will make costs even more advantageous for the university system.
Request Procedures
Applications are collected periodically, based on the opening of request windows.
Interested individuals can refer to their structure RED, which will provide operational instructions and collect requests to be forwarded to the SIA.
