On the occasion of the GARR Conference 2026, scheduled to take place in Pisa, the University of Pisa is hosting a series of free training courses dedicated to highly relevant topics in the field of digital infrastructure and services. This initiative is part of the Conference program, which this year is titled “The Shape of Change. Between Digital Ethics and Shared Roots”, focused on the ongoing transformations in digital technologies and knowledge infrastructures.
The courses represent a particularly interesting opportunity for students, but also for PhD candidates, researchers, technical-administrative staff, and, more generally, for anyone interested in deepening topics related to digital innovation, cybersecurity, and the new frontiers of research.
The training sessions scheduled in Pisa, at the Fibonacci Hub of the University of Pisa, are as follows:
- Are you ready for OpenID Federation?
- Rapid Web Application Development with Elixir and Phoenix
- A Day with BlueTeam 2: Fantastic Logs and Where to Find Them
- Introduction to Quantum Computing and the Quantum Internet
The GARR Conference is the annual event dedicated to the community that uses and develops the GARR network and its services, offering in-depth discussions on themes such as digital autonomy, ethics and law of artificial intelligence, system resilience, sustainability, and new scientific frontiers.
Participation in the courses is free, with registration through the training page on the GARR Conference 2026 website.
