The University of Pisa has activated Google’s cloud services, known as GSuite, for students and staff of the university.
Google offers access to these services free of charge and without a formal contract with the University of Pisa. Therefore, the university cannot guarantee the level of service or its duration over time.
Access is granted using university credentials, and the only information shared with Google are first name, last name, and username.
Cloud storage limits
The quotas listed in the following tables include a soft quota, which generates a notification to the user without immediately blocking writes, and a hard quota, beyond which storage is blocked. The roles refer to the Guidelines for using IT resources, while the Default value applies to all who do not fall within the specified roles.
